No More Oxygen

Lacy no longer needs one of these.

We got a call from her pulmonologist yesterday. She had just had two overnight tests, one with oxygen and one without and without oxygen her levels were between 96 - 100 so her body has figured it out! So after 2 heart surgeries, many sedated EKGs, sleep studies, tons of tests, etc. Lacy is finally free!

Lacy Has A New Job: Model

My buddy Jeremy is a very talented photographer and he asked if he could take some shots of Lacy for a competition he was entering. We took Lacy into a field near his house and he shot her as she danced and looked at and smelled some flowers. Here are some of the shots.

If you'd like to see more of the shoot click here. 68 pictures in all.

Also, here is where Jeremy posted the pictures. You can read the feedback from the other photographers in the competition.

I promise we also love our other 3 kids. It seems like we've had a lot of Lacy stuff lately, but we'll get some good stuff up of Tyson, Luke and Lindsy too : )

Join us at the Buddy Walk

See how sad Lacy Looks? Lindsy is trying to do her best to make her feel better. She even ditched her usual milk mustache for the chocolate goatie to cheer her up.

Why is Lacy so sad? Because her dad waited unitl now to let everyone know about the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk that is taking place this next Saturday. Here are the details. It is at the Kids on the Move office (475 W 260 N. Orem), which is just behind the Orem Community Hospital. There is a carnival that starts at 9 am and the actual walk part starts at 11:30 am. There will be a raffle after the walk. It's a fun event and even if you can just come for a little bit you will have fun seeing these cute kids. There's a BYU football game that starts at 1 pm so you could do the carnival in the morning and the game after.

Hope to see you there!

Yesterday Was a Good Day

Here's a list of what we did yesterday:

* Went to Luke's soccer game where they beat the best (used to be) team in the league 4-2. Luke was awesome.

* Went to Tyson's first flag football practice. They had a lot of fun. He's on a team with his buddies from the old 'hood.

* Amy and Tyson and I had a blast at the BYU football game. Tyson is becoming a big football fan and right now his favorite player is a tie between Fui Vakapuna and Harvey Unga. It's pretty rare to go see BYU play a team from the PAC-10 and have that easy of a game. It was fun to watch.

This is what Luke, Lacy, & Lindsy did.

* Oh, and we got an offer on our old house and another family is supposedly making a backup offer on Monday.

It was a good day.
